Terms of Service

By accessing or using QR Predictive Beta ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Overview

This service allows users to generate static QR codes that permanently resolve to a destination URL. This is a beta offering and may be subject to change or removal without notice.

2. Ownership and Licensing

You retain ownership of any URLs or information submitted through this platform. We grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the QR code(s) you purchase.

3. Limitations and No Warranty

Static QR codes are permanent and cannot be changed after generation. We are not responsible for errors in submitted URLs or misdeliveries due to incorrect user email inputs. Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

4. Refund Policy

All QR code purchases are final. Refunds will not be issued for incorrect submissions, unintentional purchases, or misuse of the service. Digital goods are considered delivered once the QR image is generated.

5. Compliance with Laws

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that URLs or content submitted via this service comply with all applicable laws and do not violate intellectual property rights, FTC regulations, or content restrictions.

6. Safeguards Rule Compliance

As a provider handling limited personal information (e.g. email, transaction ID), we maintain commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards in compliance with the FTC Safeguards Rule. These include access restrictions, encrypted fields, and secure database access protocols.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy outlines how QR Predictive collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information in accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other applicable privacy laws.

  • Email address (required for delivery)
  • Destination URL for QR code
  • Optional PayPal transaction metadata
  • IP address and browser metadata for fraud prevention

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used strictly for order fulfillment, auditing, fraud prevention, and compliance with financial and legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.

3. Data Retention

We retain order data (including email, QR info, and transaction metadata) for audit and proof-of-delivery purposes. You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us at privacy@qrpredictive.com.

4. Your Rights

  • Request access to your data (GDPR Art. 15)
  • Request correction or deletion (GDPR Art. 16–17)
  • Opt-out of sale of personal information (CCPA Sec. 1798.120)
  • Request a record of data shared (CCPA Sec. 1798.110)

5. Data Security

All email addresses and QR-related data are stored securely using industry-standard encryption at rest. Access to production databases is restricted via role-based access control and logged.

6. Third-Party Services

We use PayPal for payment processing and Supabase for secure storage. Both comply with relevant privacy and security standards. We do not share your data with these vendors beyond the minimum required to fulfill your order.
